Mundy Family

These girls are so vivacious I had a blast capturing the entire family up at Thanksgiving Point Gardens.  I felt lucky anytime they were still in the frame and not having decided to run off together leaving their parents behind.

Here's one of my favorites from the session, but honestly, there were so many wonderful moments of pure spontaneity and love that, who knows, it might warm your heart up just a bit on this chilly and wintery Fall day. ;)

Check them out on my facebook page.

Maternity Session at Payson Lakes, UT

All of a sudden, a usual Wednesday (last night) turned into baby Sofia's birthday.

Congratulations to my beautiful BFF Elisa: the newest mommy on the block! (Well, I only wish she lived that close to me. Someday our dream of being next-door neighbors and swimming with dolphins in our swimming pool will still come true.) ;)

As for now, our goal is to make our daughters BFFs as much of forever as we can. Welcome to the world, Sofia! Baby Sarah and I can't wait to meet you!

The weekend Elisa and her hubby spent with us happened way too fast still (the last few visits were LITERALLY a couple of minutes long). So when you meet with that lifelong girlfriend who just happens to compose the lyrics to a spontaneous song about orcs (yes) and sing those spontaneous words AT THE SAME TIME as you (did I mention all words were MADE UP?), or that girlfriend who screams at your face: "TODAY IS ALREADY TOMORROW" exactly as you are screaming the same thing at hers once the clock strikes midnight on Christmas Day....That's when you know every second spent together should be cherished, because it will be unforgettable whatever happens. That weekend definitely was for myriads of reasons (the list is too long to enumerate).

This was a pretty much impromptu session after an afternoon at Payson Lakes, Utah with the whole fam. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, and too many kids to keep count!

I loved seeing her big belly and feeling baby Sofia's kicks. I'm so happy to be a part of this beautiful story!

Baby Richie: Lifestyle Newborn Session

Six days old in counting, this little man is the luckiest baby in the world to have such an adoring family!
My jaw dropped when I entered their home with warm wooden floor, high ceiling and yummy light entering through their large windows. Must I add that the decor was just the cutest one could ask for?!

Oh, and I was almost forgetting about the dogs. They are part of the family, too. I had never seen such magnificent huskies in my life!

In short, everything in this session was just perfect and to die for! *_*
Enjoy!

Anika: Senior Session at the SLC Public Library {Salt Lake City/Utah Senior Photographer}

Anika and I met in high school. I was a junior and she was in 8th grade. I've always felt we were very similar.
As in I see myself in her.

So much has changed from the time we lived in Buenos Aires, yet, now that we are both in Utah our paths cross once again and I keep thinking the same thing.
A lover of learning, she's decided where she'll be going to college. Anika will soon be starting English Writing at Brigham Young University and I couldn't be happier for her!

One last thing: I wish I was as brave as her to chop off my hair...Love me some pixie hair! *u*

Preview: Anika

I can't believe this girl is graduating already.
She is the most amazing girl--and I feel truly honored to be her photographer and friend.

Can't wait to show the rest!

Julia & Gabi - Child Portraits {Murray City Park}

Let them be kids:
Silly, childlike, wonderful.

These girls would not stand still, but I love the fact they were simply being themselves!

Editorial Style Fashion Shoot

Weeks of preparation and image after image of inspiration.
One hour of pure delight--it was never so easy to make pretty pictures, despite the fleeting light we encountered.
And day after day of editing and perfecting.

I couldn't have done this without the marvelous help and support of the following people:
-Leticia Nasta, the model: all credit goes to her and her amazing skills!
-Nathalia Choairy, my assistant: small details--including hair, make-up and styling, were pretty much all on her!

Without further ado, the pretty part of the post:
:)

Flavia {Portraits}

If you've been in Utah these past couple of months, you might have noticed the lack of snow this winter. Flavia had contacted me last Fall saying she wanted photos with snow. "Sure," I said, "Lets just wait until we actually have some snow around". Finally, the week before she was leaving the USA (3 months later) we had some sticking snowflakes--just for her!

Since it's still Valentine's Week, hope you enjoy the sassy love sharing! ;)

The Ferraz Family

There's a lot of catching up in my blog posts, but hope you're digging the new look in the blog, 'cuz I am. In fact, there might be some touching up here and there, just to keep things flowing ideally, so be sure to check back often!

As for this family--with so many people in one photoshoot, there wasn't anything better (in my mind, at least) to unify so many than with colorful balloons that show off their colorful personalities. Balloons also mean to me....FUN!

The {Quadros} Family

This is a family shoot I did quite a while ago. I love how their family name, Quadros, means "frames", so when planning for the shoot, there was nothing cuter than to have a picture frame in some of the photos. ;)  These were taken along with my fellow photographer and friend, Jenni Torgan.
