Mallory + Russ Engagements

Is there anything more special than taking your engagement photos on the same place of the proposal? This is the case with this sweet couple, Mallory and Russ. I gotta say though it was a beautiful and clear winter day, they sure didn't let the chilly air lower their spirits. Can't wait for their wedding later this year!

To premiere my site's new look, I just HAD to post a preview of my latest engagement session. This adorable hondureño couple came all the way from Idaho for this. I feel so honored to have been a part of this.

Steph and I met last year through a friend in common. They came over to my house and we "partied" by making meatloaf together....for the one and only time in my life. I insisted to myself and everyone else there was no need for mashed potatoes. Note to all of you meatloaf amateurs: make sure there's mashed potatoes. Eating meat-wrapped meat isn't as attractive as you might think....

Somehow Steph forgave me for the incident and now is happily marrying the love of her life next month.

Felipe + Erica {Engagements}

From the moment Erica contacted me up until now I couldn't wait for sharing their engagement photos. They are SUCH a gorgeous and fun couple to work with--I felt I should have met them earlier. :)

I also fell in love with Erica's emerald green dress--classy, right?! *u* Ladies, here comes a helpful tip from a photographer: DRESS UP in either a dress or skirt and you won't regret it. ;)

{Elisa & Guilherme} Engagements + LIVE Proposal

Elisa and I are cousins and so alike it's impossible not to notice that in our talk, above anything else. We grew up together and would spend hours on end imagining our Prince Charmings. Don't even get me started on our inner jokes, hehe xP~

She is a flight attendant in Brazil, and Guilherme is going to college in Idaho. Two weeks before my own wedding to my handsome prince, she flew up here to Utah to surprise me and to see her own prince. Since they knew they wanted to get married next year and were seldom together, they thought it would be a good idea to get their engagement session out of the way.

Little did she know that Guilherme would propose right in the middle of the photo session. With some strategic preparation, I secretly filmed the whole thing--don't miss watching it at the end of the post! I love how everyone knew except Elisa xD

I love Guilherme's face of joy on the next one (right after he had proposed!)
