Congratulations to my beautiful BFF Elisa: the newest mommy on the block! (Well, I only wish she lived that close to me. Someday our dream of being next-door neighbors and swimming with dolphins in our swimming pool will still come true.) ;)
As for now, our goal is to make our daughters BFFs as much of forever as we can. Welcome to the world, Sofia! Baby Sarah and I can't wait to meet you!
The weekend Elisa and her hubby spent with us happened way too fast still (the last few visits were LITERALLY a couple of minutes long). So when you meet with that lifelong girlfriend who just happens to compose the lyrics to a spontaneous song about orcs (yes) and sing those spontaneous words AT THE SAME TIME as you (did I mention all words were MADE UP?), or that girlfriend who screams at your face: "TODAY IS ALREADY TOMORROW" exactly as you are screaming the same thing at hers once the clock strikes midnight on Christmas Day....That's when you know every second spent together should be cherished, because it will be unforgettable whatever happens. That weekend definitely was for myriads of reasons (the list is too long to enumerate).
This was a pretty much impromptu session after an afternoon at Payson Lakes, Utah with the whole fam. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, and too many kids to keep count!
I loved seeing her big belly and feeling baby Sofia's kicks. I'm so happy to be a part of this beautiful story!
